Over the years, Charlie has shared stages with an impressive roster of legendary artists, including Roy Ayers, Nile Rodgers, Parliament, Femi Kuti, Seun Kuti, Mos Def, Common, MF DOOM, KRS-One, Horse Meat Disco, Joey Negro, Kurtis Blow, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Norman Jay, Mr. Scruff, Ghostface Killah, Amp Fiddler, Cut Chemist, De La Soul, Gilles Peterson, Erykah Badu, Q-Tip, The Pharcyde, and many more. As the founder of the beloved Dancing in Perth brand, Charlie has dedicated himself to bringing the funk to his hometown of Perth, Australia, and beyond. A seasoned international performer, Charlie has played throughout England, France, Spain, Portugal, Scotland, and the United States. His ability to read a room, adapt to any environment, and consistently deliver unforgettable sets has made him a sought-after DJ both at home and abroad. In 2018, Charlie launched his disco edits imprint, Dancing in Space Edits. The debut release sold out within a month and received support from respected selectors including Mr. Scruff, Nick The Record, CC!, and Marcel Vogel. Since then, the label has gone on to release five further editions, featuring contributions from renowned artists such as Rahaan and Dylan Thomas (Patchouli Brothers), with more exciting releases on the horizon.
